Explosion proof floodlight type RLF/..  is intended for use in hazardous areas: - in areas endangered by flammable and explosive mixtures of gases and air, fumes of flammable liquids and air, or various combinations between the two, in danger zones 1,2 in accordance with related standards EN 60079-10:2003 - in hazardous areas due to the presence of flammable and explosive dust in Zones 21, 22 in accordance with related standards EN 61241-10/2004.

The explosion protection ensure utilizing types of protection: "Flameproof enclosure" in accordance with standards EN 60079-0:2004, EN 60079-7:2003 and EN 60079-1:2004, "Increased safety" EN 60079-0:2004, EN 60079-7:2003 and EN 60079-1:2004. The product is in accordance with standard EN 61241-0:2007, EN 61241-1:2005 - "General requirements", "Protection by enclosure »tD«".
