The explosion proof pendant light fitting of the series PLFL/.. for incandescent and high pressure discharge lamps meets the requirements of the ATEX-Directive 94/9/EC. The explosion proof pendant light fitting of the series PLFL/.. are certifield for use in industry areas made hazardous by flammable gases, vapors, liquids and dust in the zones 1, 2, 21, 22 in accordance with the EN 60079-10 and EN 61241-10.

The housing is made of a cooper free aluminium with a powdered coating. The  glass enclosure is made of borosilicate glass with a high thermal and mechanical  stability. All external screws are made of stainless steel. The light fitting is normally supplied with internal high  grade aluminium  reflector. Internal wiring is completed with high temperature cable. The safety switch ensure the discontenting of all exposed components when the fitting is opened.
