Explosion proof adapter ADP2. is used for electrical connection between Exd enclosure and Exe adapter terminal without usage of the special Exd cable glands.

It is used as component with enclosure in hazardous areas:

in hazardous areas due to the presence of flammable and explosive gases, vapors or mists in Zones 1 and 2 in accordance with EN 60079-10,
in hazardous areas due to the presence of flammable and explosive dust in Zones 21, 22 in accordance with EN 61241-10.

The new SMP 06 is electronic ballast for explosion proof applications. It has been certified for use in hazardous area due to the presence of flammable and explosive gases and vapors in Zones 1 and 2 in accordance with EN 60079-10.
The SMP ballast meets all requirements of EN 60079-0: 2009, EN 60079-7: 2007 and EN 60079-18: 2009 standards.

Explosion protected junction box RK .... are used for carrying and distributing electrical power in hazardous areas:

intended for use in explosive gas atmosphere in danger Zones 1,2 in accordance with related standards EN 60079-10
intended for use in explosive dust atmosphere in danger Zones 21, 22 in accordance with related standards EN 61241-10

The junction box RK… (enclosure and cover) are made of glass fibre reinforced polyamide. They are fitted with pillar (mantle) terminals for cable up to 6mm2 and/or terminal bloks for cable up to 4mm2. The cover screws and all other external metal parts are made of stainless steel.
