Ex junction box type RK 01/...

Explosion protected junction box RK .... are used for carrying and distributing electrical power in hazardous areas:

• intended for use in explosive gas atmosphere in danger Zones 1,2 in accordance with related standards EN 60079-10
• intended for use in explosive dust atmosphere in danger Zones 21, 22 in accordance with related standards EN 61241-10

The junction box RK… (enclosure and cover) are made of glass fibre reinforced polyamide. They are fitted with pillar (mantle) terminals for cable up to 6mm2 and/or terminal bloks for cable up to 4mm2. The cover screws and all other external metal parts are made of stainless steel.
